The university professor, academician, legal adviser and politician Titu Maiorescu (1840-1917), de facto leader of the Junimea Society, presented his law degree thesis at the University of Paris in 1861. The copy is part of the mandatory published edition as required by university regulations and includes the author's corrections, additions and comments.
