Engraving representing Claude Pellot (1619-1683), a senior civil servant during the reign of Louis XIV, a close associate of Minister Colbert, whose cousin he married. Between 1670 and 1683 he held the dignity of President of the Rouen Parliament, being its first President. The portrait was drawn by Claude Mignard (1606-1668) and engraved by Johann Jacob Thurneysen (1636-1711). The item is in a very good state of preservation. Engraving on copper.
