133. Venus

Mirrored in the monumental, in sculptural ensembles or in busts, the work by artist Guguianu gravitates around the culture of the human body, to which he remains connected throughout his creation. Attracted from the very beginning by the universe of mythology and knowledge, the artist would mark his artistic tendencies around Antiquity, which he would interpret on his own terms, like a modernist. Themes such as: meditation, nostalgia, maternity, romance, rivalry, melancholy, aspiration, amazement, rebellion, penitence, prayer, flight, will find their echo in warm waves of marble or bronze incandescence.
