Living in modern Paris, between 1917 and 1940, Pallady has, however, built his culture and capacity of interpreting the formal based on the poetic spirit of Baudelaire's writings, as well as of the literary and artistic symbolism, a spirit that only a cosmopolitan and classy city could have created. Consequently, we discover the painter's work from this period of time, an intimate painting, a poem of the interior and the familiar, yet transposed in an antagonising way, in works that unmask an unsettling, sometimes mysterious, and even melancholic atmosphere, This is how we can explain the disappearance, or better said, the overlooking of the exterior in Pallady's creation, the landscape being far less approached than the character (the nude) in an interior ambiance or still life, environments far more susceptible to a progressive interpretation of those crumbs of symbolism. He observes the woman in the intimate space where she manifests freely, without the constraints of clothing, when she allows herself a time for daydreaming, sheltered by a familiar environment. That is when he captures her highly voluptuous moments of relaxation, silence and daydreaming, as well as the expression she conveys to the body. The honesty of the feminine spirit is what the artist seems to be searching for, managing to illustrate it in his painting, the logic of representation requiring him to harmonise this newly-earned freedom of emotional synchronicity with the space. Thus, Pallady impregnates his studio paintings with the concept of characters' intimate environments, where they don't have the awareness of being seen.
