Tavă rotundă cu bordură godronată, iar pe câmpul lis inscripție gravată "TO/ SILVIU BRUCAN/OUR FRIEND AND COLLEAGUE/AS A REMINDER IN THE YEARS TO COME/ OF OUR PLEASANT ASSOCIATION WHILE IN WASHINGTON D.C. JUNE 1959". Sub inscripție sunt prezente patru semnături în caracter cursiv. În această perioadă Silviu Brucan a fost Ambasadorul României în SUA.
