Research information
The work is conceived as a puzzle forming the image of the Mother Goddess. Eluding anatomical detail, the image is making reference to religious iconography. Maria Pop Timaru graduated the Sculpture Department of the National University of Fine Arts, Bucharest (2003). A selection of the exhibitions she was in include the Visual Art Museum (Galaţi), International Ceramics Biennial (Cluj-Napoca), IN Gallery (Vienna).
