Painter and designer, founding member of the Prolog group, he remains one of the important artists of contemporary art. He stands out in Romanian painting with large-scale works, in which he depicts panoramas of outdoor spaces filled with vegetation where a few examples in this sense are: "Grapevine", "Lemons at the window" or "Gladiola".
As for the work at hand, the focus is given by a landscape from Balchik, with houses and a hill. The landscape is picturesque, where the most dominant colors are the green of the trees and hills, the white in the background and the black visible at the chimneys of the houses.
