Bringing together within a core the predisposition of art to reinvent itself through personal diegeses, the Post-War and Contemporary Art Auction becomes a living organism, aiming to be the memory of a dynamic body in continuous metamorphosis. The core of this auction is vibrant, blending the accumulation of intrinsic experiences with ongoing artistic transformation. Our house's auction seeks the essence that shaped the contours of the faces signed by Corneliu Baba, with introspective gazes, as well as the dynamism of Corneliu Brudașcu's characters, constantly in a state of alert. This body of works brings together, in the same space, established artists from the local scene such as Corneliu Baba and Ștefan Câlția, as well as names that stand out through their familiar resonance on an international level, such as Adrian Ghenie, Corneliu Brudașcu, Hortensia Mi Kafchin, Mircea Suciu, and Marius Bercea. Featuring a section that explores the diversity of artists from the Cluj School, we can distinguish contradictory, almost paradoxical interests of artists who aim to reinvent themselves with each painting demonstration.
