Through a series of introspective and dreamlike compositions, the artist attempts to transcend the traditional perception of time and space, while underlining the infinite possibilities of painting, representing the numerous facets of the human condition and of contemporary experience. Gathering representations of angels or other imaginary characters inspired by the Baroque, along with depictions of human bodies in ritualistic motion, the artist provokes spectators to immerse themselves in an imaginary world as a poetic dimension, in which myth and metaphor prevail. The spontaneity of his painterly gesture accentuates the dynamics between the muted color palette and the darker, vivid colors, offering a versatile and invigorating perspective on the medium of painting.
