This work represents a monument of Romanian culture in Transylvania during the Enlightenment period. Initiated by Samuil Micu and continued by other representatives of the Transylvanian School. Specialists consider it the first modern dictionary of the Romanian language. The text is arranged in two columns and is printed in Latin, Cyrillic, and Gothic characters. The typographic ornamentation found on the pages is summary. The title page is decorated with a rustic-inspired sequence. The binding is made of cardboard with a leather spine, probably dating from the mid-nineteenth century. The copy is kept in a good state of conservation inside. The binding is the original one. The covers and spine are damaged, can be restored.
