The manuscript has 113 pages numbered in Arabic numerals, the text is written in black and red ink to mark the chapters. Text mirror: 18×14 cm, 25 full-page lines, and particularly neat calligraphy. Chapters and initials are done in red ink. The manuscript includes from page 1 to 100 "A Holy Gregory Sinaitul forward speech, because our world is against blood and against body and what is the war and what is the soldier and all the weaponry of God" and from 101 to 112 includes "The Word I of Nicephorus the One from Hermitage for guarding the heart, full of use". Assuming that Dumitru Stăniloae published the works of St. Gregory Sinaitul and Nicephorus from Hermitage in "Philokalia of the holy struggles for perfection", vol. VII, Humanitas, Bucharest, 1999, we assume this manuscript was the basis for the published work. On the first unnumbered page, there are 16 lines addressed to the reader. At the end of the book, there are also 2 pages very neatly written regarding prayers from the works of the two church representatives, respectively, St. Gregory Sinaitul and Nicephorus from Hermitage. The manuscript retains on page 1 an inscription, at the bottom of the page, "This book called Gregory ..." - unfortunately, the continuation of the inscription on the next 7 pages, which probably mentioned the monastery where the manuscript was copied, was erased! The binding is original, brown leather, glued on cardboard, with a floral medallion and traces of a frame on the first cover. The book block has yellowed paper, with spots of moisture and rust. The book's preservation state is mediocre. The spine shows signs of decay and missing pieces of leather.
