The present work represents a monument of Romanian culture in Transylvania during the Enlightenment era. Initiated by Samuil Micu, it was continued by other representatives of the Transylvanian School. Specialists consider it the first modern dictionary of the Romanian language. The text is arranged in two columns and is printed with Latin, Cyrillic and Gothic characters. The typographic ornamentation found on the pages is summary. The title page is decorated with a rustic-inspired sequence. The binding is made of cardboard with a leather spine, probably dating from the mid-nineteenth century. The copy is preserved in a good state of conservation, with traces of time passing inside.
