The lot consists of the following documents: 1. Two addresses from the Commission for the Review of University Professors sent to the professor at the University of Bucharest Gala Galaction, through which he was imperiously asked to declare what his relations were with masonry and the Jewish community. The addresses are dated December 16 and 29, 1940 and are handwritten signed by the chairman of the commission, the historian Petre P. Panaitescu, appointed rector of the University of Bucharest where he held the chair by the legionary government. 2. Gala Galaction's response, handwritten with black ink, signed and dated December 25, 1940.
