185. Notification Address to Gala Galaction from the Romanian Academy, 1915, with the holograph signature of its President, Constantin I. Istrati, originates from the historic collection of Șerban Țuculescu-Maria Galaction

The president of the Romanian Academy, the scholar Constantin I. Istrati (1850-1918), announced to Gala Galaction that the Romanian Academy had awarded him the "Ion Heliade Rădulescu" prize worth 5000 lei, a considerable sum for that time, as a sign of appreciation for the writing "The Little Church in Răzoare". The document is dated, signed in handwriting, and has the letterhead of the Academy.
