Volume made of 63 pages of printed text and 25 pages of handwritten text written by teacher Iancu Dumitrescu from Urlați, Prahova. The printed part contains prayers to the Virgin Mary, translated from Greek and printed in 1846. Lilliputian edition format in 12º, text size 7.5 x 4.5 cm, with 12 lines per full printed page. Handwritten text in block letters, has 7 x 5 cm text size, with 14 lines per full page. The first manuscript page states the date "August 20, 1850" and the author of the manuscript "written by the undersigned Iancu Dumitrescu [...] teacher in Urlați, Prahova". The text is handwritten or printed in red and black ink, with borders, drawings and initials. Bound in red leather glued to cardboard, decorated with vegetal elements in gold and central medallions on the first cover The Virgin and Child on the second cover, The Crucifixion of Jesus. The case made of red leather glued to cardboard has also been preserved.
