Irimescu's works emphatically highlight the character of the person portrayed, seeking the inner features of the form which they synthesize, expressing in a profound way the individuality and richness of each model. Throughout his creation, whether he aimed at constituting an image analoguous to the model, whether he interpreted or imagined, there was an inclination towards classicism in his representations, be it nude, portrait or composition. One of Irimescu's main concerns with portraiture is achieving a certain expressiveness, establishing the most intimate relationships by correlating between physical and psychic. Most of his works of this kind highlight the increased attention towards the individual portrayed and observing the details at the moment of creating each subject.
