The current auction selection acts as a binder between two worlds: the spiritual and the secular, a feature that generates in the viewer a sacred turmoil, a "shaking" in the manner of Kierkegaard, reflecting a certain position towards Divinity, a position that goes beyond the institutional framework. The selected works act like "signs of eternity," activating the manifestation of the sacred in the profane. "The Forbidden Art Gallery" is the title of the exhibition organized by Sorin Dumitrescu in 2012 at the Romanian Peasant Museum, as part of the effort to find a permanent exhibition solution for one of the most valuable collections of contemporary art, a collection inaccessible to the general public due to the lack of a permanent venue. Florin Mitroi, Sorin Dumitrescu, Silviu Oravitzan, Vasile Gorduz, Horia Bernea, Paul Gherasim, Marin Gherasim are just a few names who, in their overall creation, have explored this ineffable connection with divinity. The artist has the power to replicate, through his grace, Creation on a miniature scale, prompting an introspection into the human ontology.
