Description
Hope and Homes for Children is an international organization founded in the United Kingdom in 1994 by Mark and Caroline Cook. Today, Hope and Homes for Children runs programs to reform institutionalized child care systems and prevent child separation in 30 countries in Europe, Africa and South America, through its own offices or partner organizations. In Romania, the projects started in 1998; a year later, they managed to close the first orphanage, the one in Cavnic, MaramureÈ County. So far, they have contributed directly or indirectly to: 60 closed orphanages, while another 10 are being closed, 115 family-type houses open for some of the children who left the orphanages, 6,000 children have left the closed orphanages, 33,482 children remained with their families due to the separation preventing program, 3,000 children and young people institutionalized or at risk of being institutionalized or abandoned benefit annually from the national programs of Hope and Homes for Children. The foundation is determined to end the institutionalization of children in Romania by 2027. All family-type homes built by Hope and Homes for Children, offer children and young people an environment as close as possible to afamily. In a family - type house can live up to 12 children that enjoy accommodation, care, education, emotional support and counseling for the development of independent living skills. Children accomodation is based on needs-meeting criteria, for example: siblings will live in the same house, where children of close age are selected, children with special needs usually live together and receive special attention. Technical data: 300 square meters built area , 260 square meters usable area ; 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (girls, boys, tutors), 1 technical room, 1 kitchen, 1 living room; generous yard of at least 400 square meters; concrete structure; thermal system; ground floor or ground floor height regime +1

This lot does not have a material form, but a symbolic and strictly an emotional one.
