Following the victory over the Argentine national team, the players of the national football team were writing the most beautiful page in the history of Romanian football and thus reaching the quarterfinals of the 1994 World Cup in the USA. 30 years after this event, we celebrate this success through a unique auction dedicated to the players of the Golden Generation. "The Golden Generation" represents, first and foremost, a model. The performance and competitiveness of these footballers, the passion with which they played representing Romania, should inspire not only the next generations of athletes, but each one of us. The auction comprises 49 lots, consisting of two parts. The first part consists of lots 1-26, which will be auctioned before the Last Match, both online (as well as by written offer or phone offer), and in the gala event room held at Radisson Blu, on Friday evening, May 24, starting at 8:45 pm (approx.). The second part of the auction, consisting of lots 27-49, will be auctioned after the day of the Last Match, only online, in a timed online format, on Friday, May 31, at 12:00. Please note that the lots have a different composition, namely: the lots of Romanian athletes are double, consisting of both the official jersey of the Last Match of the Golden Generation, autographed by the player, and the actual playing shirt in which the athlete will play the anniversary match. We kindly ask collectors and enthusiasts of these wonderful collectibles not to forget that in order to participate online in the auction it is imperative to open an online account beforehand on the Artmark platform. The auction is a charitable one, with the funds collected from the sale of the event jerseys being donated by the organizers. All the profit resulting from the auction will be donated to the "Golden Generation Schools", an initiative through which the Golden Generation will financially support all the primary schools where the team members were educated. This cause was announced at the end of February, when, with the launch of the official store, the legends of the Golden Generation announced that the profit raised from the sale of the collectible jerseys will be equally distributed among the educational units where the 25 players from the lot that will be present at the National Arena on May 25 had studied.
