The Unirea Petrol tanker was the second ship of this type built at the Constanța Shipyard in 1978, with a capacity of 150,000 tdw. Following an explosion and a fire on board, it sank in the Black Sea, the crew being rescued, but there was one victim. The photograph captures a moment during the completion of the ship.
