The lot is accompanied by the novel "The Gypsy Tribe" by Zaharia Stancu, Swedish edition, Stockholm, 1973, whose cover he illustrates. Upper right, handwritten notes of editor René Coeckelberghs: "De l'artiste qui a eu le plaisir de faire la couverture pour votre chef d'ouvre qui m'a profondément inspiré. De l'editeur qui a eu la joie de produire ce chef d'oeuvre aussi que les autres".
