Ricardo Kaka was presented as an official player of Real Madrid at the press conference on June 30, 2009, playing his first official match on August 7, 2009. His first goal scored for Real Madrid was in the match against Borussia Dortmund. On September 27, 2011, Kaka experienced one of his best games as a player for Real Madrid during a 3-0 victory over Ajax in the Champions League, while he scored a goal, passed for a goal and was part of one of the best match line-ups: a counterattack move that involved Mesut Özil, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema. Subsequently, Kaka was chosen as the best player of the Champions League Day.
