The diary includes an illustrated postcard of Queen Maria printed by the photographic studio A. Brand from Sinaia and two original photographs, one of Princess Elisabeth, the eldest daughter of Queen Maria, the second of Queen Elisabeth of Romania. Many dried flowers are pinned to the diary's pages, indicating the place and date they were picked up. Numerous fragments copied from the classics of European literature, and short holograph notes written by friends of the owner, some from a later period. The owner may be Mrs. Esperance Gulianu, a member of the Bucharest high elite. This is a leather covered diary, with metal horners. One element of the lock is preserved only.
