3PC. Protect 1 hectare of forest from the Retezat mountains

Estimate

EUR 600.000 - 0

Session

Thu, 29 December 2022 19:00

This lot does not have a material expression, but a symbolic one, strictly soulful. The adjudicator or the participants are not issued an object of value in exchange for the adjudication price, but, being in fact a donation or sponsorship, an adjudication certificate. The document is given both to the participant who gave the largest amount, and to all those who contributed to the achievement of the charitable goal. The price regime is cumulative, so the offers do not eliminate each other, but, in relation to the humanitarian purpose of the auction, they are accumulated, reflecting the current cumulative price and the number of participants.

Description

Contribute to the protection of a wooded mountain in the Retezat massif that you will be free to visit at any time and enjoy all the features it offers: milder climate, clean water and air, recreation, observing biodiversity. Together with Forever Forest we will buy and protect the richest forest on the European continent, considering that nowhere is there a place with so many species of flora and fauna. This forest in the Retezat mountains measures 391 hectares and is not included in any National Park, being vulnerable to exploitation. To achieve the objective, the Forever Forest Foundation still needs 600,000 euros, amount that remained uncovered from the total of 3,600,000 euros and which will allow the care and protection of the forest for the entire century. Forever Forest has transformed from a project of Agent Green into a new Foundation whose mission is to acquire such centuries-old forests that will be strictly and forever protected.
