"Grow up big!" is the name of the caravan dedicated to children from poor rural communities for whom growing up is often too lofty of a goal. Every day in our country, 3 children die before reaching the age of 1. Among them, almost 20% have mothers who have not passed the age of majority. Over 30% are babies born to mothers who are illiterate or have not completed 8th grade, while half are babies whose mothers never saw a doctor during their entire pregnancy. For all the reasons that decrease the children's chances of surviving even in the first year of life, we will prepare a caravan that will arrive every week in the villages and poor communities in the counties around Bucharest and will carry out all the medical tests that will allow timely identification of conditions impossible to treat later. In addition, we will implement a solution that will allow the collection and analysis of the information obtained, but also put in real time contact all the actors who can and have a role in supporting seriously ill children at social risk: family doctors, maternity hospitals, hospitals emergency services, social workers, etc. "Grow up BIG!" is no longer a saying of the old!
