Identification elements of iconographic and stylistic order: The icon is a festival icon and was part of the fret of an iconostasis, of which nine icons have been preserved in the collection. The anonymous painter depicts the scene of Jesus' Resurrection, according to Western iconography, Jesus triumphantly rising from the grave, holding a standard in his hand. In the lower part of the composition, in a landscape, the empty tomb guarded by soldiers is depicted; two soldiers with swords in their hands express their surprise and bewilderment in front of the miracle. Noteworthy are the rustic elements of the icon painting, both in conception and in execution. The color scheme of the painting is similar to the previous ones. Identification elements of technical order: The wooden support of the painting consists of a panel, without crossbars. Conclusions: The icon painting stylistically fits into the religious painting practiced in the first half of the 19th century in local painting workshops, more conservative, which will gradually transform into folk painting (A.D.).
