Identification elements of an iconographic and stylistic order: The Holy Prophet Jacob is depicted on the golden background of the icon, up to the waist, facing to the left. With his right hand he holds a filacter, and with his left hand he makes the sign of speech. He has a halo around his head. He is dressed in a light-gray chiton, over which a sky-blue himation is draped. According to tradition, his face is modeled in shades of brown, and the hair of the head and the beard are rendered in thin strands. Identification elements of a technical order: The wooden support of the icon is finished in an accolade shape at the top, and on the verso it is reinforced with two lateral crosspieces. Conclusions: From an iconographic, stylistic and technical point of view, the painting of the icon falls within the coordinates of Russian painting from the first half of the 17th century (A.D.).
