239. Plaque "Higher School of Architecture", engraver Mauriciu Carniol son, 1897-1922

The "School" of architecture, which only officially became a University in 1952 and today bears the name of the distinguished architect Ion Mincu, celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1922. The event was marked by a plaque made by Mauriciu Carniol, the son of the engraver Moise Carniol. This includes the busts of Emil Pangrati and Ion Mincu, facing left and Grigore Cerkez, facing right, surrounded by laurel and oak leaves at the top and the inscription "1897 - 25 years of activity - 1922" at the bottom of the plaque.
