Rendered in the New Testament western version, the composition includes God the Father, to His right is the Son, and from above descends a mandorla with the Holy Spirit. The Son holds the Cross in his right hand, and the Father, the scepter. The torso of the Savior is bare, wearing only a red himation, lined with green. The Father and the Son sit on a throne of clouds, and between them is the globe of power. The author is among the first disciples of the two icon painters who founded, in 1796, the first glass painting workshop in Nicula (M.B.).
