Identification elements of iconographic and stylistic order: The icon is festal and was part of the frieze of an iconostasis, of which nine icons are preserved in collection. The anonymous painter renders the scene of the Virgin Mary's Entrance into the Church, respecting the traditional composition. Against a background of conventional architecture, the scene unfolds in a church interior. According to their promise, Saint Joachim and Saint Anne brought their daughter Maria, being a child, who is received by Saint Zacharias. The tower where the Virgin Mary stayed, being fed by an angel, is also represented. The presentation of episodes adjacent to the main scene denotes the taste for epic at the time. The chromatics is similar to the previous ones. Technical identification elements: The wooden support of the painting consists of a panel, without a crossbar. Conclusions: The painting of the icon fits into the religious painting practiced in the first half of the 19th century in local workshops, more conservative, which will gradually transform into folk painting (A.D.).
