Identification elements of iconographic and stylistic order: The Holy Prophet Jonah is depicted against the golden background of the icon up to his waist, oriented to the right. With his left hand he holds a scroll with his prophecy, and with the right he points to it. Around his head he wears a halo. He is dressed in a blue chiton and a red-brown himation. His face is modeled in shades of browns, and his hair and beard, beginning to turn gray, are depicted in fine strands. Technical identification elements: The wooden support of the icon ends on the upper side in the form of a brace, and on the verso it is reinforced with two lateral crosses. Conclusions: From the iconographic, stylistic and technical point of view, the painting of the icon falls within the coordinates of Russian painting from the first half of the 17th century (A.D.).
